What we fix
Furnace repairs
We work on the furnaces found in Long Island homes: oil, gas and electric, old and new. Ignitors and flame sensors, blower and inducer motors, pressure and limit switches, control boards, thermostats and airflow problems.
Before you call, check the thermostat is set to Heat, the furnace switch and breaker are on, the filter isn't clogged and, on oil heat, the tank isn't empty. On site we diagnose first, explain the problem and the price, and only then make the repair.
Safety: if you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm goes off, get everyone out and call 911 or the gas utility from outside.
Common questions
Furnace questions
My furnace fan runs but there's no heat. Why?
Usually the burners aren't lighting: an ignitor, flame sensor, pressure switch or limit. Check the thermostat is on Heat and the filter isn't clogged, then call.
Do you work on oil furnaces?
Yes. We repair oil, gas and electric furnaces.
How much does a repair cost?
Every job is different. Call and we'll talk through your situation, and we explain costs before any work starts.
